There are now 22 chat rooms that are available in the iSpQ video chat community with a wide range of topics that represent the variety of our members. We recently updated the name and navigation structure to make it easier to find your way around this assortment of directories. Primarily, we have changed "G Main" to "Clean Chat" and "Adult Gateway" to "Adult Chat". This change more clearly communicates the purpose of the two main categories of the community: clean or adult chat.

In addition to this change, we have added a new room: Senior Adult Chat. There have been a number of requests for this room by our more experienced members and the senior gay men room continues to grow as a popular destination.

You can now easily create a chat room with your own interest topic by going to the "Member Created Chat" area. Click the Create button and fill out the topic. A password is optional and you are the owner and operator of the room with the ability to remove users if you need. These member created rooms are not monitored by the community monitors. This feature is a great way to bring together a group of people for a meeting of any kind. Club meeting, family get-together or just friends can easily find and join your chat room!

This is the first in a series of brief articles that seek to inform our users about increasing their privacy and security in the iSpQ community. This month's topic involves the "Invisible" mode. It is one of four modes in iSpQ (the others are "Online", "Away", "Do Not Disturb").

The most noticeable impact is that you appear as offline on the Pal List of other users. You also gain a bit of privacy on spots in the Community tab as well: you are hidden in the directory listing (the table with 'Name', 'Location', and 'Comment') of the room you are currently in. However, if you join that room's Text Chat (by pressing the 'Join Chat' button), you will NOT be hidden in the list of 'Public Chat' users: the invisible icon will appear next to your name, indicating to others that you are hiding. One other fact about being invisible is that you cannot receive video chat invitations.

iSpQ remembers your mode between sessions, so if you were invisible before logging off, that invisibility would be preserved upon your next login.
